Li Mingshun Visits Belt and Road Forum Volunteers

A total of 49 students from China Women's University (CWU) worked as volunteers during the Belt and Road International Cooperation Forum held in Beijing from May 14-15. To motivate the students and thank them for their efforts, Li Mingshun, chairperson of CWU Council, met the volunteers at Shuiyu Cafe on May 15.

The volunteers introduced their duties during the meeting. Chen Lijun, deputy director of CWU's Student Affairs Office, laid out the volunteer's performance and the management of the temporary Party branch established during the forum. Li spoke highly of their wonderful performance during the meeting and looked forward to their better performance in future work. He said that CWU will provide the greatest support to them.

Li said that it is a great honor for CWU to participate in the event and it's encouraging that volunteers cherished the opportunity and fulfilled their responsibilities seriously. In the future, Li hoped CWU's volunteers team will continue to carry forward the voluntary service spirit and volunteers will study hard, adhere to the university's motto and assume more social responsibilities.
