HWF Delegates Visit CWU

A delegation from Hubei Women's Federation (HWF) visited China Women's University (CWU) on March 15, where they participated in a seminar.

Li Mingshun, chairperson of CWU Council, received the delegation and presided over the seminar. CWU Vice-President Wang Jingxia and directors from the Continuing Education School, Women's Studies Faculty and Teaching Affairs Office also attended the event.

During the event, HWF president Peng Limin introduced the basic situation of HWF and analyzed the necessity for training female cadres. She hoped CWU could help HWF train female cadres and women's federation cadres, provide support to HWF's work on women's affairs and social gender mainstreaming, and cooperate with HWF to develop online training courses.

The two sides also exchanged opinions on the cultivation of teachers who are in temporary transfer, as well as the development of Hubei Women's Cadres School. 

Li emphasized that CWU is commit to strengthening female cadres' quality, meeting the requirements of the All China Women's Federation (ACWF) and implementing the university's reformative tasks as one of the ACWF's consultant units.

Li warmly welcomed the delegation and hoped to cultivate more teachers and develop more excellent curriculum resources. CWU is starting to construct its educational information system and is sincerely hopeful to strengthen cooperation with HWF in female cadres cultivation, Li added.
