CWU Volunteers Serve at the ‘Two Sessions‘

Some 39 students from China Women's University (CWU) served as volunteers at the 5th session of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and 5th session of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from March 3-15.

The activity aimed to further improve the Communist Youth League's participation in social governance, enhance volunteers' organizational and mobilizing capacity, and maintain peace and security of Dongcheng District in Beijing.

CWU volunteers strictly maintained the discipline of guards, strengthened the public security inspection, carefully inspected security risks, actively disseminated safety protection knowledge and improved the public's security awareness.

CWU volunteers' performances were well received by the Youth League Committee of Dongcheng District and won honor for the university.
