CWU School of Culture and Communication Holds Seminar on Party Congress Spirit

 March 16, 2017

The School of Culture and Communication at China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium on the spirit of the university's 3rd Party Congress. Students from the Party Branch, probationary Party members and some student leaders participated in the event.

The branch secretary introduced the basic situation of the 3rd Party Congress and analyzed the content of the Party Committee's work report.

In order to finish the university's 14th Five-Year Plan, the student Party members should maintain their discipline, improve their management capacities, take the lead in serving students and strive to meet the university's requirements on talent cultivation, the secretary urged.

Yuan Jialin, deputy secretary of the School's Party Branch, shared her experiences at the congress. Yuan said she is proud of participating in the Party Congress and contributing to the management and construction of the university.

"During the meeting, participants exercised their rights of voting and decision-making with a high degree of political responsibility and sense of mission," Yuan said.

"The representatives' contributing ideas and a positive attitude gave me much inspiration. I was also deeply moved by their contributions to promoting the university's development," Yuan added.

The organizers hoped attendees could have a comprehensive understanding of the university's achievements and development process since the last Party Congress, and gain more confidence in accelerating the building of a first-class women's university.

The student representatives said they will integrate the spirit of the 3rd Party Congress into their daily lives and contribute to the CWU Dream of constructing itself into a top women's university.
