CWU Delegates Visit Int'l Business, Economics Univ

Wang Jingxia, vice-president of China Women's University (CWU), led a group of teachers from the Social Services Office to visit the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) on September 21, where they attended a seminar on social services, the alumni association and the organization's foundation.

Wang Jiaqiong, president of the UIBE, warmly welcomed the visitors and outlined the UIBE's development history, school-running characteristics and current situation in terms of its international exchange and partnership assistance. 

Zhang Rui, general secretary of the UIBE's Alumni Association, outlined the association's basic situation, main work and its work plan in the future. Zhang also shared his experiences in the preparation, daily management and funds governance of the UIBE's educational foundation.

The two sides discussed the working mechanism, institution-building and database development of the alumni association.

Afterward, Wang introduced CWU's objectives of talent cultivation and the development situation of its social work up till now. She sincerely thanked the UIBE leaders for their invitation and warm reception and expressed her hope that the two sides could strengthen mutual cooperation and jointly push forward progress in the profession of social work. 

Attendees also included Kou Wenyu, director of the UIBE's Social Services Department, and Su Longzhong and Miu Qi, deputy secretary-general of the UIBE's Alumni Association.
