Anastasia Slivinskaya, a journalist from Industrial Newspaper of Kazakhstan, gives a speech. [Women of China/Fan Wenjun]

Anastasia Slivinskaya, a journalist from Industrial Newspaper of Kazakhstan, said that someone might consider "how to raise a family," "how to maintain a family's orders" and "how to play a family's social responsibility" as "tiny little things;" but without the so-called "tiny little things," it is not possible to lay a solid foundation to make achievements in "key issues." In Kazakhstan, women make equal contributions as well as men do. According to Slivinskaya, Chinese women play an indispensible role in advancing the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which is similar to the situation in Kazakhstan. She believed only if women have the equal opportunity to show their potentials as their male counterparts, a bright future can be created on a solid foundation.

During the women's forum, many participants claimed the forum provided a new platform to strengthen women's exchanges among China, Central Asia and Outer Caucasus. The forum made new contributions to deepening friendship, reaching consensus, harnessing women's power for the BRI, advancing women's all-round development, achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and promoting the building of a community with shared future for mankind.
