In recent years, in order to better support the innovation work of women's entrepreneurship in the city, Wuhan Women's Federation has set up a service system to support innovation and entrepreneurship from three aspects.
As part of their team building efforts, they set up a series of organizations including the Women's Creation Alliance, the Women's Housekeeping Alliance, the Handicraft Creative Alliance, Female Farmers League and the Alliance of Women's Innovation Bases, to harness the power of entrepreneurship.
In terms of position, the federation has identified a range of women's entrepreneurship innovation bases as well as agricultural science and technology demonstration bases so as to continuously expand their services in the area of women-run start-ups.
In terms of activity construction, the federation has created a special brand for entrepreneurial activity, and has launched various activities on entrepreneurship training, policy interpretation, tutor pairing and exchanges for locals.
It has also organized themed competitions on entrepreneurship and housekeeping, as well as holding exhibition, which was jointly run by the federation and women's organizations for four consecutive years, to further optimize the environment for women.
According to an official from Wuhan Women's Federation, the federation will vigorously support and guide the Women's Innovation Base to carry out the activities and jointly organize such competitions.
Meanwhile, it will also expand the selection of entrepreneurial innovation women representatives, publicize their deeds, and recommend outstanding female entrepreneurial role-models, so as to create a more encouraging atmosphere for women's innovation.
