The ceremony inaugurating the Women's Economic and Entrepreneurship Development Center of Cambodia was held in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, on December 3, 2025. Pich Chanmony, wife of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Ing Kantha Phavi, Cambodian Minister of Women's Affairs, and Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, attended.
The China-Cambodia Friendly Space for Women's Empowerment and Girls' Growth, supported by the All-China Women's Federation, was officially unveiled, in the center, on September 29. By providing vocational-skills training and courses in improving entrepreneurship and employment capacity to women and girls in Cambodia, the space aims to strengthen friendly exchanges and cooperation, involving girls and women's education and development, between China and Cambodia.
