2006 Cup of China ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating opened yesterday at Nanjing Olympic Center in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The event will last till November 12.

Sixty-three top selected athletes from 16 countries and regions attended the competition.

This event is one of "The Grand Prix of Figure Skating" series, consisting of six total figure skating competitions and the "ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final."
