A bouquet to be used at awarding ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics and
Paralymics was unveiled in Beijing on Friday, Xinhua reports.
The pyramid-shaped bouquet measures 40 centimeters high and 25 centimeters in
diameter at its widest part.
The centerpiece, red China rose, is surrounded by five other kind of flora,
including hosta leaves, mondo grass, and hypericum.
The bouquet is tied with China silk ribbons, which bears the Beijing Olympic
emblem, in traditional China bowknot style.
During the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics, altogether 6000 bouquets will be
presented to medal winners.
