As the country was assaulted by the snowstorm off
guard, the organizers had only five days to prepare this concert. Thanks to the
active participation of compassionate showbiz people, it went very well. Over 30
popular Chinese singers made their contributions by performing unpaid on the
concert and donating money for the victims. Since this event is one episode of
the serial "Sing for the Olympics" campaign, many sports celebrities, such as
the soccer ace Hao Haidong, the "diving queen" and Olympic champion Gao Min,
also showed up, along with Yang Liwei, the first astronaut in China, to
express their concerns about the people suffering from the rare natural
disaster.
