CWU Post-grads Attend Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Social Work Forum

Twenty-one post-graduates from China Women's University (CWU) participated in the 2017 Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei academic forum for social work students on December 1.

Themed "Service and Innovation: Social Work Theory and Practice in Promoting Social Development", the event was organized by Beijing University of Technology (BUT).

Chen Chunzhu, a post-graduate student who majors in women's service, participated in the meeting and delivered a speech on "Comparative Study on Support Services for the Handicapped: Taking the Example of Organization A in Chengdu and Center B in Taiwan".

Other students from CWU attended different sub-forums, shared their experiences and exchanged opinions with students from other higher institutes.

CWU Postgraduates' Union has prepared for the lectures carefully. CWU students fully demonstrated the university's achievements in development of graduate students in social work. The academic exchange not only strengthened CWU graduates' scientific research capacities, broadened their academic horizons, but also enhanced exchanges between CWU and other universities.

Participants said they have recognized their strengths and disadvantages through communicating with other graduates. The experience provided them a reference and motivated them to explore professional knowledge in the future.
