Zhejiang Holds Exhibition of Chinese Female Artists' Works
An exhibition of the paintings of 12 female artists from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan is currently being held at the Deqing Museum in Deqing County of east China's Zhejiang Province. [hangzhou.com.cn]
An exhibition of the paintings of 12 female artists from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan is currently being held at the Deqing Museum in Deqing County of east China's Zhejiang Province.

The exhibition features more than 60 selected paintings by 12 famous artists, including Gu Yi, vice president of the Hangzhou Fine Art Academy, who specializes in portrait painting.

The exhibition is one of the activities of the Fourth Youzi Cultural Festival organized by the Deqing County government to commemorate Chinese artist Guan Daosheng (1262-1319), who was born in Deqing County and was a famous female calligrapher, painter and poet during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368).

The exhibition will run until December 24, 2013.
