A training course on anti-domestic violence and promoting marital harmony was jointly held by the Beijing-based Maple Women's Psychological Counseling Center (MWPCC), China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) and Chinese Women's Health Network (CWHN) at the Asian Games Village in Beijing on September 6-7, 2012.

As part of a global campaign sponsored by the U.S. National Anti-Domestic Violence Network and the Avon Foundation for Women, the training course will also be held in four other cities across China, namely Chengdu, Shenzhen, Shijiazhuang and Shanghai.

The Beijing training course drew the attendance of 60 local residents who learned about domestic violence and its attendant issues. Attendees also performed role plays to practice what they learned during training.
