The purpose of this article is to discuss the core issue in the study of women's art: Does art have gender? Seven points will be examined in the study: 1. the ontology and epistemology of women's art; 2. Women's art and women's art criticism; 3. the validity of the feminist art critique; 4. female artists and art criticism; 5. feminist art criticism and gender system; 6. the subject of women's art and art criticism; 7. the construction of gender. By analyzing this subject, the author wishes to contribute to the study of women's art and clarify confusions about women's art and criticism.
