SW China Miao People Enjoy Grape Harvest

Ethnic Miao women harvest grapes on August 13 in Jiaomeng Village, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, in southwest China's Guizhou Province. People there recently held a grape festival. According to a local village official, the total grape output of the region is expected to reach 1.46 million kilograms this year with a value of 8.76 million yuan (U.S.$ 1.3 million).
