A "Share the Blue Sky: Care for Rural 'Left-Behind' Children" summer camp was held by Zhejiang Women's Federation at the Baochu Pagoda Experimental School in Hangzhou, capital city of east China's Zhejiang Province, on July 14-16.

The three-day event drew the attendance of 35 rural "left-behind" children (those whose parents have left them alone at hometowns to find work in far-off cities with higher salaries) from Jingning She Autonomous Prefecture in Lishui City and mountainous areas in Wenzhou, Zhejiang.

In addition to strengthening ties with their peers from the school during the camp, attendees visited Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhejiang Museum of Natural History and Hangzhou Safari Park, which greatly broadened their horizons.

Furthermore, they were also invited to tour the local people's court and bureau of public security, experiencing the daily work of staff members there.
