An event to celebrate International Children's Day with local students from Baiwei Township of Shanglin County, southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and help attendees further raise their awareness of legal regulations, was held at the local Tanpai Primary School on June 1.
The celebration received much support from the Communist Youth League of Shanglin County and was directed by Huang Zhenyi, an official from the Guangxi Women's Federation stationed at the township.
While touring to local parks and other scenic spots in the morning, attendees listened to a lecture about the Law on the Protection of Minors and knowledge related to anti-drugs, AIDS and other similar issues.
Meanwhile, students organized various artistic performances for the celebration, taking legal regulations as their theme and giving tips on helping the young to stay away from crime.
