Fang Ruqin, a winner of the Zhejiang March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter award in 2016, has dedicated herself to the work of marriage registration and the mediation of domestic disputes in Pujiang County in Jinhua City, east China's Zhejiang Province, for years.

As a director in charge of marriage registration at Pujiang Bureau of Civil Affairs, Fang has strived to provide her clients with better services from the very beginning.

Under her leadership, the bureau has completed the compilation of all registered marriage cases from the 1950s. In addition, she championed the establishment of a counseling & mediation office in relation to marriage crisis and family disputes in September 2015. In 2016 alone, the office successfully helped 114 couples manage their domestic disputes and drop their divorce applications.

Moreover, Fang and her colleagues have provided over 2,000 couples with marriage registration services in average per year.

So far, she has been awarded with the titles of China's Top Marriage Registration Worker, Zhejiang's Top Governmental Employee at the Grass Roots and many others for her decade-long excellent work in marriage registration.
