Thousands Participate in SW China's Yunnan 'Rainbow Run' Campaign

More than 2,500 runners participated in a special race held in Tengchong,southwest China's Yunnan Province on March 4. Three stops were established on the 5-kilometer route. Employees and volunteers prepared red, yellow and blue powder artificially synthesized with corn starch and edible pigment. Race participants were covered in the colorful powders as they passed each stop, eventually crossing the finish line saturated with the bright hues.[yn.people.cn]
