Harbin Hosts Women and Ethics International Forum

Co-hosted by the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and the China Association for Mental Health, the 'Women, Health, Ethics and Society' international forum was held on June 9, 2012, in Harbin, capital city of north China's Heilongjiang Province.

Headmaster of the HIT Wang Shuguo delivered a speech at the opening ceremony, in which he said that the subject of women and ethics has become the focus of Chinese academics in recent years and that they believe that their research can help people lead happier lives. He also said that he hoped the forum would act as a platform for experts from across the world to share their experiences and research results over issues concerning women, health and ethics.
