Sarai Nietvelt, a general doctor from Belgium, recently shared her working experiences in the foreign-funded United Family Hospital in Shanghai.
Nietvelt came to China in 2005 and has been working as a general practitioner with a license granted by Chinese authority here for 11 years, providing patients of all age groups with health-related services, ranging from children's colds to gastrointestinal discomfort for adults.
Just like her Chinese counterparts, Nietvelt says she wishes to safeguard people's health.
"No country has developed as fast as China did," Nietvelt added.
With her optimistic attitude towards the Chinese medical market, she decided to give birth here in Shanghai.
