Chinese veteran Wu Minxian, paired up with He Zi, led all the way with their commanding performances to pluck the women's synchronised 3m springboard gold without any suspension at the 2012 FINA Diving World Series Beijing stop here on Friday.

For the silver medal, American divers Kelci Bryant/Abigail Johnston and Abel Jennifer/Heymans Emilie from Canada shared the same total of 306.30 points before the US pair nosed out in the one-dive tiebreaker with a slim 2.70 points advantage over the Canadian duo.

"We made two little mistakes and fortunately we made it up later," said Jennifer, "It's really unusual to compete in the tiebreaker, which never happened to me before. It's a new experience, interesting and different."

The Beijing stop, the second in the Diving World Series which featured stops of Dubai, Beijing, Moscow and Tijuana, ran from 23th to 24th with a total premium of 96 thousands dollars.
