Over the past few years, the national-level poverty-stricken city has encouraged local labor-intensive enterprises to open workshops in rural areas in a move to create job opportunities for the unemployed.
At present, over 50 such workshops have been set up in Lincheng and many people have improved their living standards by working for these new business initiatives.
