The center is an all-round public-welfare judicial resource for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, whose rights and interests are infringed, or who have other needs for rights protection.
It will carry out judicial appraisal activities independently according to law, under the guidance of the Department of Justice and the Women's Federation of Jiangxi Province.
The center will handle cases involving personal injury of women and children in strict accordance with the requirements of general judicial principles, optimize the process and improve efficiency based on objectivity and impartiality.
In addition, it will offer preferential policies for those qualified to enjoy the judicial assistance services, including fee deductions. For those who are unable to move freely, appraisers are assigned to give door-to-door service, providing legal advice and helping preserve evidence.
The province's judicial department and women's federation will further strengthen their communication and cooperation to promote such centers across the province. They will also improve the management mechanism to regulate judicial appraisal and assistance to women and children.
