National Art Museum Puts Spotlight on China's People, Spirit

Beijing's National Art Museum of China hosted an exhibition on June 19, exhibiting over 100 works by artists from the Chinese National Academy of Arts, showing images of the character and spirit ofthe country's people.

Organizers said the exhibition aims to showcase artists' dedication to presenting citizens actual life conditions. It also aims to implement President Xi Jinping's remarks and general spirit on development of culture and art.

The currently displayed works convey various genres and techniques, such as paintings, sculpture and calligraphy.

The exhibition runs till June 27.
